Elderberry Syrup Kit
How To Make Elderberry Syrup:
Add contents of bag to 3½ cups of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover the pot with a lid. Simmer for one hour.
Remove from heat and let cool to 110 degrees. Strain and press the berries using a fine sieve, preserving as much of the liquid as possible.
Add 1 1/3 cups organic sugar OR 1 cup raw honey to sweeten. Stir until blended. If using honey, cool the liquid before adding the honey to retain the benefits.
Pour into jars and refrigerate until ready for use. Yields 1 Quart.
Contents will store up to 1 year in refrigerator.
